A while back things were desperate in the water stakes... there wasn't any!!!!
The following is what happens when the stoke is not being stoked regularly!

An after work trip down to balclutha, turn right down the gravel road near Peggydale and your nearly there.




needs some more water for a goodtime!

The Young River

Howie Wilson and i managed to sneak away to Wanaka,
for a cheeky walk up the Young valley so we could float out.....

Started out a cracker day, sun shining.. birds twittering all that stuff.

By the time we got back to the car, it was West coast torrential!!

Definitely need to sort out a better carrying system.....

Scooped up Geoff and Ben from Alpine River Guides, they have been working too hard, so we were on a mental health mission.

there was plenty of water , with just two portages

one around the big rock, as all the water around

to the right and slightly under

aforementioned rock

the second being just after "Priopism" as the

good stuff comes up. The water slipped

under a boulder with no room for yakkers.

All in all enough and boogie water drops to keep

the boys grinning from ear to ear
